Under the auspices of the Regional Committee on Mediterranean Neogene Stratigraphy (RCMNS) and International Commission on the History of Geological Sciences (INHIGEO), the Organizing Committee has great pleasure to invite you to the scientific conference “100 years of the Paratethys (Laskarev, 1924) – Conceptual History and Modern Challenges” to be held on September 30th – October 1st, 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia.

REGISTRATION FEE
The conference registration fee includes participation in the conference, accreditation badge, conference bag, program, book of abstracts, coffee breaks, a lunch (30.09.2024), a ticket for the exhibition, and a cocktail-dinner (01.10.2024).
Early bird / before May 20, 2024 – 100 € (deadline extended)
Regular registration /after May 20, 2024 – 130 €
Accompanying persons – the fee includes the coffee breaks and a lunch (30.09.24) – 40 €
Bachelor & master students – Free of charge. Students must fill in a registration form and provide status confirmation (i. e. a letter signed by the head of Department or a copy of student ID).
THE FIELD TRIP FEE
The field trip fee includes bus & boat transport, field trip guide, refreshments & lunch package – 40 €.
The number of participants is limited to 40.
*Please note that it will be not possible to pay at the Conference. All payments must be made to the SGS account only by international bank transfer after
registration at the meeting.

EVENT LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference will be English (UK).
ABSTRACT
Deadline for the abstract submission is April 30, 2024. It should be prepared according to the abstract template that you can download from the download section from the bottom of this page. Abstract submission form will be available on this page from February 1, 2024.

Belgrade is one of the largest and important business cities in this part of Europe and the Balkan region. It is highly recommended to book accommodation well in advance. There are many lodging options, from budget accommodation in youth or student hostels through stylish pensions to five-stars hotels meeting international standards.
Accommodation should be booked online by participants personally.

HOW TO REACH BELGRADE
The Nikola Tesla International airport of Belgrade is served by the major airlines connecting many international destinations.
The airport is about 13 km from the city center.
Bus companies and taxi services run to and from the airport and Belgrade Center railway station.
