Our society is member of The Association of European Geological Societies (AEGS), European Federaation of Geologist (EFG) and International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS). In cooperation with mentioned organisations, SGD carry out cooperation with all other societies, associations, comitees etc.
Our society has reactivated membership in AEGS in 2007 yr. as formal sucessor of activities that were acomplished by former State Union. Federation of Geological Associations of Yugoslavia was one of initiators of establishing AEGS in Dubrovnik (Yugoslavia) in 1987 yr.
